ADAM FARRIS OF
THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior right fielder
from Flower Mound, Texas, has been named the SCAC Offensive
Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 6
through Sunday, February 12.
Farris hit .500 (5-for-10) on the weekend in
helping Dallas to a 3-0 record on the week. He hit a home run,
tallied eight RBI and scored three runs. Saturday against Sul Ross
State,
Farris was 2-for-3 with a homerun, two runs scored and
drove in three runs while also stealing a base. He drove in three
more runs in the second game Saturday and hit a double.
Farris slugged 1.600 while posting an on-base percentage
of .500 to tally a 1.600 OPS (on-base plus slugging) for the
week.
