LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Week six was a busy one for Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross-country programs as seven squads toed the line, highlighted by Schreiner, Southwestern, Texas Lutheran and Trinity competing at the University of Incarnate Word Invitational. 

Trinity turned in the best team performance among SCAC teams at the UIW Invitational with a sixth-place finish. Sophomore Laurel Daughtrey topped all Tiger runners and completed the 6K in 25:11.4, good enough for 19th place. Texas Lutheran followed Trinity in the team standings with a seventh-place finish. Junior Ashley Rynard placed 21st in the race to lead the Bulldogs with a time of 25:16.6. 

Both Schreiner and Southwestern sent runners to the University of Incarnate Word but did not score as a team. The Pirates top runner was freshman Valerie Acosta who clocked in at 43rd with a time of 27:22.3 while freshmen Sarah Endres led the Mountaineers with a time of 27:22.3 to place 43rd. 

Dallas competed at the University of Ozarks Invitational where they took home the team title, its first of the season. Freshman Anna Wigenbusch posted a second-place performance after completing the 5K in 20:49.9 to lead her team to victory. In total five Crusaders turned in top-10 finishes including freshman Sabrina Lucio (22:00.3), sophomore Clare Hernandez (22:21.0), sophomore Emma Callahan (22:49.3) and Katie Dieterman (23:26.3) who finished sixth, seventh, eighth and 10th espectively . 

At the ETBU Tiger Invitational, Austin College placed eighth with senior Hannah Richards posting the best performance, finishing seventh with a time of 25:30.3. Freshman Megan Koch led Colorado College to a 12th place finish after finishing the 6K in 24:03.8 to place 41st. 

The women's cross-country regular season concludes next weekend as all nine programs are in action highlighted by Dallas who will host Austin College, Schreiner and Southwestern for the University of Dallas Invitational.
