EMILY PHILLIPS
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a first-year outside hitter
from Spring, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 1
through Sunday, October 7.
Phillips played in all 11 sets for CC as the Tigers went a
perfect 3-0 last weekend. She had 40 kills over three matches to
average 13.3 kills a match.
Phillips had 56 digs, three blocks, an assist and an ace
over the weekend and led the team with a career-high 20 digs
and added 14 kills and a block during a 3-2 victory over the
University of Dallas to begin the week.
She tied her career-high 20 digs and added 10 kills and two blocks
in a 3-0 sweep of No. 23 Southwestern.
Phillips finished the week with a career-high 16
kills to lead the Tigers offensively against Trinity.
