Kyli Harvey, Schreiner University, Offensive Player of the Week (Week Nine)

KYLI HARVEY OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder from Houston, Texas has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Monday, October 26th through Sunday, November 1st.

Harvey and the Schreiner women's soccer team took top ranked Trinity University to double overtime before falling 2-1. 

Harvey scored the lone goal in the 73rd minute to send the game into overtime. Harvey's goal was the first allowed by Trinity since they faced Schreiner on September 15th.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:

Junior Yasmeen Farra of Trinity University scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period to lift the top-ranked Tiger women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Schreiner. Senior midfielder Kelly Lochte of Texas Lutheran University scored the game-winner for TLU in a critical 1-0 road victory against Southwestern. Senior midfielder Abigale Weisbrod of the University of Dallas played in both of the University of Dallas women's soccer victories this past week, and netted her first career game-winning goal that lifted her team to the No. 5 spot in a victory against Austin College.
