LAUREN HENDERSON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder from Fullerton, Calif., has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 15 through Sunday, October 21.
Henderson led the Tigers to a victory in its
only game last week, defeating the University of Dallas on Sunday
afternoon.
Henderson scored two goals in the win to lead the team to seven total goals in the game. She netted both goals in the second half of the game, spanning less than 15 minutes early in the period to put Trinity ahead 6-0.
For the season, Henderson has scored three goals and three assists for the Tigers. She needs just one more point to become the eighth player to reach double figures in scoring this season.
