STEPHANIE SEGOVIA OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Buda, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 24 through Sunday, September 30.
Segovia scored her fourth career hat trick in
leading Trinity to an undefeated road weekend in SCAC play against
Centenary and Austin College.
Segovia netted three goals in a 10-0 win over Centenary on Friday evening, then added a goal and an assist in the win over Austin College on Sunday.
She scored back-to-back goals in the first half of the game against Centenary, then added her third midway through the second period.
With her fourth career hat trick, Segovia joins Katy Holland (1996-99) as the only Tiger players ever to have three goals in four different games.
