SHELBY GUENTHARDT OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from Winter Springs, Fla., has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 17 through Sunday, September 23.
Guenthardt led Trinity to two wins to open up
SCAC play last weekend, defeating both Dallas and Southwestern.
Guenthardt scored three goals and had one assist in the two victories, leading all players with seven total points. She scored a goal in each half of Trinity’s win over Dallas, including a second-half goal that put Trinity ahead 5-2 on Friday.
Guenthardt then had a goal and an assist in the 5-0 shutout at Southwestern on Saturday.
For the season, Guenthardt is tied for the team lead with five goals, and is second on the Tiger team with 11 total points.
