BRYCE FRANK OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a junior forward from Granbury, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Player-of-the-Week for her performances in games on January 5 and January 7.
Frank was dominant in a pair of conference wins for the 'Roos, averaging 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in only 22 minutes-per-game.
Frank shot 60.7% from the field and 88.9% from the free throw line, going for 16 and 6 against Southwestern and posting a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds in only 20 minutes against TLU.
This is Frank's third Player of the Week honor this season.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Michelle DeCoud of Dallas shattered a career-high in scoring with 37 points in the Crusaders' game against Schreiner. DeCoud tied a personal best 14 made field goals and went 80 percent from the charity stripe. Senior guard Jordyn Villa of Schreiner University had an impressive 25 point game in the Mountaineers' win over the Colorado College Tigers. The senior also grabbed six boards and had four steals in the win over Dallas. Freshman guard Julia Ackerman of Trinity University led 13th-ranked Trinity to a sweep to open SCAC play for the Tigers. Ackerman shot 55.6 percent in just 17 minutes of play in both of Trinity's games. Junior forward Tori Carraway of Southwestern had a standout 16-point game in the Pirates' win over Centenary.
