Bryce Frank, Austin College, Player of the Week (Week 6)

BRYCE FRANK OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a junior forward from Granbury, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Player-of-the-Week for her performances in games on December 28 and December 30.

Frank had a big week for Austin College as the 'Roos went 2-0 with a win over UT-Tyler and a SCAC-opening road victory at Centenary.

Frank posted a double-double in both games, averaging 17.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.0 steals-per-game. She also shot 50% from the field and 70% from the free throw line.

This is Frank's second Player of the Week honor this season.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Helen Onyenso of Dallas closed out 2017 with a career performance, as she dropped 31 points in the Crusaders' outing against Sul Ross State University. Junior forward Presley Stephens of Texas Lutheran University had seven blocks over two games, including a TLU career-best five blocks versus East Texas Baptist. Senior guard Jordyn Villa of Schreiner University put up an impressive 36 points in the overtime loss to LeTourneau University. Senior guard Micah Weaver of Trinity University led 13th-ranked Trinity to a 4-1 record over the holiday break, and knocked down 21-23 (91.3%) from the foul line. Sophomore center Cecily Woolfolk of Southwestern averaged 17.3 points per game in just 20.3 minutes per game in three games including 24 points against McMurry.
