CAMI DAVIS OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior guard from Marion, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Player-of-the-Week for her performance against Concordia University (TX).
Davis erupted in the first quarter of the game as she netted 17 points. She finished the night with 29 total points, 10 made field goals and three three-point shots. All three of those shots at the arc came in the first two minutes of the first quarter.
Davis also added five assists and two steals in her 38 minutes of play.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Helen Onyenso of the University of Dallas netted a career-high 21 points in the Crusaders' game against Dallas Christian. She shot 11-14 at the free throw line as well. Sophomore guard Zhazze Brown of Southwestern University shot 100% from the free throw line against Mary-Hardin Baylor. She also added 12 points to the board that game for the Pirates.
