SHREVEPORT, La. - Kelsie Jackson's three-pointer with 16 seconds remaining proved to be the gamewinner as Schreiner University overcame a 12-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Austin Colelge, 62-61, and advance to Sunday's championship game of the 2016 SCAC women's basketball game. Official Tournament Website

  • Austin College ended the third quarter on a 15-1 run and held a 48-38 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
  • After giving up a basket to fall behind 55-43 with 7:18 remaining, Schreiner outscored Austin College 10-0 to pull within 55-53 with 4:05 remaining.
  • Austin College had three more field goals (23-20), but Schreiner hit 11 3-point field goals to Austin College's five.
  • Austin College's bench outscored Schreiner 34-17.
