ROSEMARY STEUP OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year runner from Kingwood, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 25.

Steup won the individual title at the DIII Texas Little State Championships and helped lead the Tigers to a first place team finish out of 11 teams. Her time of 23:28 for the 6K course was 40 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. 

The win was Steup's first collegiate win, as well as the fifth year in a row that a Trinity female has taken the top individual spot. Her time puts her 10th in the Tiger all-time records.
