BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a first-year outside
hitter from Seguin, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 27
through Sunday, October 3.
Bothe hit .269 while averaging 3.0 kills per set
and 2.2 digs per set to lead Birmingham-Southern to a 4-0 record at
the SCAC Crossover matches at Birmingham-Southern.
She hit .588 with 11 kills and only one attack error in a 3-0
win over Sewanee. Bothe had double-digit kills in
three of her four matches with 11 against Sewanee, 12 against
Centre and 15 against Millsaps where she added 11 digs against the
Majors for a double-double. She finished off the weekend with nine
service aces to go along with four total blocks.
