EMILY PERKINS
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior middle blocker from
Plano, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Co-Player-of-the-Week
for matches played from Monday, September 13 through Sunday,
September 19.
Perkins hit .348 while averaging 3.47 kills per
set to lead Colorado College to four victories last weekend at the
SCAC Crossover matches at Southwestern University. Defensively,
Perkins averaged 3.27 digs and .533 blocks per set. She posted her
fourth and fifth double-double of the season on Saturday, including
a 21-kill, 20-dig performance during the five-set victory over
Millsaps. Perkins averaged 5.6 points (kills + aces + blocks) per
contest during the weekend.
