LEISHA MEADE OF SEWANEE-THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a junior from Sevierville, Tenn., has been selected the SCAC Women's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, April 13 through Sunday, April 19.

Meade finished in the top five in three of her four throwing events this past weekend at the Western Carolina Invitational. She recorded three season bests and two personal bests out of her four events finishing second in the shot put, fourth in the discus and fifth in the hammer throw.
