TAYLOR STEPHENS OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior from Southlake, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, April 11 through Sunday, April 17.
Stephens competed in the 10,000-meters at the Mt. SAC Invitational in California on Thursday night. Stephens ran a 35:50, which not only was a personal best and smashed the school record, but her time was only two seconds off the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships.
