EMMA KESTERSON AND MARY CARDONE OF SOUTHWESTERN, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Saturday, January 25 to Sunday, February 02.
In their first official match paired together, Cardone and Kesterson defeated St. Thomas 8-7 to help lead the Pirates to a 9-0 win over the Celts in the season opener.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Mary Eby and Madison Starr of Texas Lutheran played No. 2 doubles producing a 2-1 record. They defeated teams from Louisiana College and LeTourneau by scores of 8-0 and 8-2.
