HAILEY FEUER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Phoenix, Ariz., has been named the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played through February 10.
Feuer got a hard-fought 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) victory at line five singles as Trinity opened the season against Division I Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Feuer was the lone point of the match for the Tigers.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior M.P. Hubert of Texas Lutheran won at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-0 in the Bulldogs’ 7-1 win over Howard Payne. Schreiner senior Katie Smith did not drop a set during in both of her matches over the weekend against Centenary and Sul Ross State.
