CIERRA WHITE OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a first-year player from Las Vegas, Nev., earned All-Tournament honors for Austin College after going 2-0 at the SCAC championships, which included victories against counterparts from Schreiner (her team’s only point) and from Texas Lutheran. She finished the season with an 11-3 mark at No. 3 singles. This fall, White teamed with Kate Willis to win the “B” Draw Doubles title at the 2013 ITA Southwest Region Championships, and also won the "B" Draw Singles Consolation bracket.

White received four votes in the Newcomer-of-the-Year balloting, followed by freshman Eliza Southwick of Trinity who received two votes and Brooke Taylor of Texas Lutheran who received one vote.
