EMILY HARRISON OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Paradise Valley, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 8th.
Harrison was a double winner in a tri-meet against Ohio Northern and Wayland Baptist last week.
In the 1,000 freestyle, Harrison posted a time of 11:39.04, finishing nearly a full minute ahead of the second place swimmer. She followed that up with a topfinish in the 100 backstroke (1:04.01).
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC
Junior Robyn Remschel of McMurry University won both the 100 and 200 backstroke and finished second in the 50 free. Remschel was also a part of the War Hawks third place 200 free relay team.
