NEIL OF SEWANEE: UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a
first-year swimmer from Decatur, Ala., has been selected the SCAC
Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, October 26
through Sunday, November 1.
Neil was second in the 200 IM (2:16.06), 3rd
in the 200 Fly (2:13.64, new school record), and swam the fly leg
on the 2nd place 400 Medley relay at the Hendrix classic on Oct.
30. She also contributed legs on four relays the next day at the
47th Hendrix Relays and helped her team finish 4th overall (first
among Div.III schools).
Notably, Neil swam a 25.25 50 free split, a 1:11.36 breast split, 1:01.33 on the lead off leg of the fly relay and 55.97 on the 400 Free Relay.
