ALLISON DAVIS
OF SEWANEE-UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH, a junior
midfielder from Carbondale, Ill., has been selected as the SCAC
Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from
Monday, October 20 through Sunday, October 26.
Davis scored one goal in Sewanee's Thursday night
shutout of NAIA school Trevecca Nazarene and then stepped up again
on Saturday with a goal as the Tigers stopped #18 Emory 2-1 in
front of a homecoming crowd on the Mountain.
Davis who has two goals and three assists on the
year has helped the Tigers get back into the region rankings as
Sewanee is now ranked 10th in the South.
