JOHNEE WOLTER OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior attack from Austin, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 2 through Sunday, March 8.
Wolter led the way for Southwestern last week in the Pirates’ only game of the week against St. Mary’s. She rang up five goals and one assist for six total points, the single highest point total for any SCAC women’s lacrosse athlete last week. Wolter now leads the SCAC is goals (16) and is tied for the league lead in assists with six.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Emily Pauletti of Dallas scored a game-high four goals in the Crusaders first win of the season over Culver-Stockton College. Pauletti placed 10 of her 12 shots on the cage. Senior attack Ashley Guerrero of Johnson & Wales paced the Wildcat offense last week scoring 11 goals and adding one assists to help JWU to a 1-3 record. In the Wildcats’ first win of the season, Guerrero rang up a team-high four goals in the win over Adams State.
