EMMA PERTUIT OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman midfielder from Seabrook, Texas, has been named SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 24 through Sunday, March 1.
Pertuit scored two goals in the game against Dallas while also winning 12 draw controls, picking up four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Pertuit and the Pirates limited the Crusaders to just 11 total shots, inclduing just seven on the cage.
