KIMBERLY LESCHBER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN
UNIVERSITY, a junior right handed pitcher
from Thorndale, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 24th
through Sunday, March 30th.
Leschber finished 1-0 on the week,
appearing in three games and making two starts.
Leschber finished with 13 innings of
work, allowing just one earned run for an ERA of just 0.54 for the
week. She gave up 10 hits and struck out three. Opponents hit just
.204 against her.
She came in from the bullpen in TLU’s 4-3 loss to
Pacific. Leschber gave up
just one hit in four innings in her work against the Lutes. She
also started two games against Trinity, earning one win and a
no-decision. She tossed nine innings in those two starts, allowing
just one earned run on nine hits.
