STORMIE LUTZ OF SCHREINER
UNIVERSITY, a freshman utility from Goliad,
Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 24th through
Sunday, March 30th.
Lutz enjoyed a productive week in
helping the Mountaineers to a series split against
Dallas.
Lutz was lights out over the weekend,
hitting 8-for-12 (.667) with two doubles, two triples, a home run,
and eight RBIs to lead Schreiner.
Lutz went 1-for-2 in the first game of
the series including a three run homer to lead the Mountaineers to
victory. She followed that up with another three RBI day on
Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and three RBIs in
the 9-0 win.
