AUSTIN BROWN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Austin, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Saturday, October 3rd.

Brown has continued his streak of improvement this season. At the Chile Pepper Festival, he ran a minute faster than last year at the same course. He PR'd by nearly 40 seconds from his time earlier this season by running a time of 25:58. He joins a short list of Trinity runners who have ever broken 26 minutes, and he is now ranked in the top 10 all-time among Tiger runners.

Brown also helped his team average 26:05 at the meet which is one of the fastest team averages in school history.
