JACKSON
BRAINERD OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from
Littleton, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country
Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, October 3.
Brainerd ran at the College portion of the
Oklahoma State "Cowboy Jamboree" in Stillwater, Okla. where he ran
a 25:28 (a season best time) and placed 3rd out of 239
runners. The field was composed of NAIA, NCAA Division II
colleges and junior colleges. Colorado College was the
only Division III school in this race and he led the team to a 2nd
place finish (six points from the first place team) out of 28
schools while running the fastest time ever by a CC runner at this
meet.
