MARQUIS BROWN OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior from Refugio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Co-Track Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, March 18th.
Brown shares the honor this week with Michael Erickson of Trinity University.
Brown won the 400-meter title at the University of the Incarnate Word Spring Break Classic with a time of 48.29 seconds.
This time currently ranks as the top time in the Division III outdoor early-season rankings.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior Michael Erickson of Trinity University won the 1500 and took second in the 800 at the UIW Spring Break Classic, posting time of 4:04.11 and 1:57.45, respectively.
