ROBERT WILLETT
OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a first-year runner
from Mobile, Ala., has been named the SCAC Men’s Track
Athlete-of-the-Week for all meets from Monday, March 15
through Sunday, March 21.
Willett finished the 1500 meter
run in 4:02.44 at the Emory Invitational, which ranked
first in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference during the
meet.
Forty minutes later, Willett set a personal record in the 400 meter - 49.75, also first in the SCAC.
