DEAN DULTHUMMON AND ALONSO FERNANDEZ OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for matches played through Sunday, April 15th. Dulthummon is a sophomore from Tamarin, Mauritius and Fernandez is a junior from Austin, Texas.
The duo went 2-0 in doubles last week to lead the Pirates to a pair of victories.
The weekend included a huge win over the #13-ranked team in the region from Trinity University during the Pirates' upset over the Tigers.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Wilson Lambeth and sophomore Jordan Pitts of Trinity University went 2-0 last week with wins over Southwestern and McMurry at the top line in doubles.
