JERICK PENA OF MCMURRY UNIVERSITY, a junior from Frisco, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performances in meets from Friday, Oct. 27 to Saturday, Oct. 28.
Pena helped his relay squads to first place finishes in the 300-yard back, 500-yard free crescendo, and the 200-yard free relay on Friday.
On Saturday, Pena had two first place finishes in his individual events 200 IM (2:01.78) and 200 Back (2:03.42).
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Tyler Brown of Austin College had two individual first-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:51.38 and 100-yard breaststroke in 1:02.229.
