JAMES WARREN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Heath, Texas has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performance in the dual-meet against Puget Sound (WA).
In the team's return to action after the holiday break, Warren led Trinity to a 102-75 victory over the University of Puget Sound.
Warren's highlights included a win in the 150 fly with his time of 1:26.55 and a second-place finish in the 100 yard IM with a time of 55.76.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Jerick Pena of McMurry University posted a runner-up finish in the 50 yard breaststroke and was third in the 50-yard freestyle againt UT-Permian Basin. Senior Chase Clark of Trinity University took first in the 100-yard IM at 55.41 seconds against Puget Sound (WA). Junior Ethan Schick along with sophomores Eric Dallesasse, Michael Wright, and Jon Roddy of Colorado College won the 200-yard butterfly relay with their time of 1:39.62.
