JACOB HURRELL-ZITELMAN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a freshman from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, November 6th.
Hurrell-Zitelman won three events during a dual meet with Division II University of Texas at Permian Basin over the weekend.
Hurrell-Zitelman kicked off his afternoon with a 2:01.66 win in the 200 IM. He then captured the 500 freestyle, only to come back and impress witha 9:54.55 in the 1000 freestyle.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Stefan Bay of Colorado College came away with two wins (100 and 200 back) and two runner up finishes (200 IM and 200 medley relay). Peter Robinson of Southwestern University swam a career best in the 200 free (1:46.36) and a season best in the 200 back (2:00.71) during a dual meet with Austin College.
