RYAN HUNTER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore forward from Albuquerque, NM, has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 10th through Sunday, October 16th.
Hunter led the top-ranked Trinity men's soccer team to a pair of wins at home last weekend, defeating Austin College and Centenary College.

Hunter scored a pair of goals against Centenary, including the game-winning goal just 4:05 into Sunday's game. He added his second goal just over 11 minutes later to put the Tigers up 2-0, and effectively seal the win.
Hunter is now tied for second on the Trinity team with 6 goals - 3 of which have been game-winning goals.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Phillip Le of Austin College tallied his SCAC-best 12th goal to lift Austin College to a 1-0 victory over Schreiner as the 'Roos went 1-1 on the weekend. Le's goal against Schreiner was also his sixth game-winner this season. Senior midfielder Victor Manzaba of Texas Lutheran University gave TLU a 1-0 first-half lead with his goal against No. 20 Colorado College in Friday's game. Junior midfielder Luke Schwarz of the University of Dallas factored in both of the Crusader's goals against Southwestern, providing as assist and the game-winning golden goal in OT.
