ZAC TREU OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from San Antonio, Tx., has been selected the SCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 10th through Sunday, October 16th.
Treu led the #1 Tigers to a pair of SCAC shutouts at home over the weekend, defeating both Austin College and Centenary to remain atop the SCAC standings.

Treu and the Trinity defense held Austin and Centenary to just 10 total shots over the weekend of action, recording the team's fifth shutout in the last six games.
Additionally, Treu provided an assist on the game-winning score of Friday's 1-0 win over Austin.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore goalkeeper Joseph Khalaf of Austin College earned his fifth shutout of the season and held top-ranked Trinity to just one goal, while stopping 11 of the 12 shots he faced as the 'Roos went 1-1. Khalaf made 8 saves against Trinity and followed that up with 3 saves in a victory over Schreiner.
