Max Grossenbacher, Colorado College, Offensive Player of the Year
MAX GROSSENBACHER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior forward on the men's soccer team, has been selected as the 2015 SCAC Offensive Player of the Year in a vote by the league's coaches.
Grossenbacher, a forward from Austin, Texas, leads the SCAC in almost every offensive category, including goals scored (9 – tied for the lead), assists (9), points (27) and shots (98). The senior captain recorded these stats while playing center forward – a position he had never previously played.  He was also tops in the league in goals scored (7), assists (7) and points (21) during conference-only play, leading the Tigers to an 11-1-2 SCAC record and a second-place regular season and tournament finish.
A three-time all-SCAC selection and two-time all-tournament honoree, Grossenbacher is the second Colorado College player to earn SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Year honors – following Matt Fechter who received the award in back-to-back seasons (2011 and 2012).

Grossenbacher received five votes from the coaches in the SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Year balloting. Trinity University senior forward Derrick Horvath received the remaining three votes.
