AIDAN GILDEA OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Frisco, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, February 4 through February 10.
In his debut, Gileda led the Pirates’ back-line against the Huntingdon attack over the weekend, holding the Hawks to 11 goals on 34.4 percent shooting. The first year also chipped in with a helper in the second period of the contest.
