TOMMY SCHUBERG OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior from Camarillo, Calif., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for competition played through Tuesday, September 26.
Schuberg completed the 54-hole Al Jones Jr. Memorial Tournament in a tie for seventh place.
During the two-day event, Schuberg carded a 227 (77, 80, 70) to lead Dallas to a fourth place finish.
Schuberg's 70 (-2) on Tuesday ties his career-low round, which he has recorded in both tournaments this season.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Jason Lopez of Schreiner University tied for seventh place at the Al Jones Jr. Memorial Tournament this week, carding a score of 227.
