SPENCER LEVI OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman forward from St. Louis, Mo., has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, December 3rd. 

Levi gave the home fans plenty of highlights last week as the first-year shot 22-for-24 (91.7%) from the field and combined for 50 points in two wins for the University of Dallas men's basketball team.

Levi registered two more double-doubles, which giving him four overall for the season. On Saturday, he grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and swatted a school record nine blocked shots - which alone tied the team blocked shot record in a game before Saturday's 11 total raised it. Levi also added 2.5 assists and one steal per game last week.

Prior to Saturday's near triple-double performance, Levi ranked 3rd in NCAA Division III for field goal percentage with a 78.7-clip. Along with his 11.2 rebounds average, Levi is shooting 81 percent from the field and ranks atop the SCAC in each of those columns.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman forward Michael Holland of Austin College had a strong week, averaging 21.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in the 'Roos two games last week. Sophomore guard Cedric Harris of Centenary College averaged 26.0 points on 60% shooting last week as he led the Gents to a 3-0 record. Harris also grabbed 6.7 rebounds per game while dishing out 3.0 assists. Senior forward Ryan Ogden of Southwestern University averaged 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds last week for the Pirates. Junior guard Nathan Josephs of Texas Lutheran University scored 20 points and had six rebounds and three assists in the Bulldogs' lone contest last week. Junior guard Nylan Yancy of Trinity University came off the bench for a team-best 20 points in just 18 minutes of action, hitting 5-8 from the field overall, 2-3 from beyond the arc, and 8-9 from the foul line.
