ZACHARY WHITLOCK OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior forward from San Angelo, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Sunday, November 15th.
Whitlock scored 23 points in Southwestern's season-opener against Howard Payne Friday night. He shot 53.3% from the floor and posted 7 rebounds with four steals, one block and three assists.

Sophomore guard Travion Kirkendoll of Centenary College turned in his 11th-straight double-digit scoring game to lead Centenary Saturday. Junior guard Michael Sarrat of the University of Dallas logged a team-high 17 points in the Dallas men's basketball season-opener at Hendrix College on Sunday. Senior forward Cedric Hudson of Austin College hit 7-of-14 shots to pace the 'Roos with 19 points in a victory over LeTourneau. Sophomore guard Matt Jones of Trinity University finished with 10 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds, hitting 3-6 from the field and 1-2 from the three-point line.
