PATRICK PRICE
OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a senior guard from
Brentwood, Tenn., has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week
for games played Monday, February 14 through Sunday, February
20.
Price helped the Panthers to three wins this
week, including a four-point victory against 23rd-ranked Centre on
Sunday to win the SCAC regular season title. He scored a
career-high 22 points against Atlanta Christian College on
Valentine’s Day, then 10 points against DePauw and 12 against
Centre, averaging 14.7ppg. He also recorded 11 total rebounds,
averaging 3.7 a game.
For the week, Price shot over 65 percent from the
field (.654), going 9-of-11 against Atlanta Christian, 4-of-7
against DePauw, and 4-of-8 against Centre. He was also over 55
percent from three-point range (.556) and 5-of-5 at the free throw
line this week.
