AARON WILLIAMS
OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a 6-0, 195-pound sophomore
right-hander from Covington, La., has been selected the SCAC
Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February
9 through Sunday, February 15.
Williams had a stellar week on the hill for
Millsaps, posting a 1-0 record with a 0.75 ERA in 12 innings of
work. Williams tossed the fourth complete game of
his career to earn a 2-1 Sunday against Hendrix, going all 10
innings and scattering eight strikeout, four hits, and just one
unearned run off a passed ball to pick up his first win in 2009.
