BRENT LINDSEY
OF RHODES COLLEGE, a 6-0, 190-pound junior first
baseman/DH from Cordova, Tenn., has been named the SCAC Offensive
Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, March 15
through Sunday, March 21.
In six games, Lindsey batted 12-for-25 at the
plate for a.480 batting average while driving in seven runs,
hitting five doubles, one homerun and scored eight runs on the week
as he helped the Lynx to a 5-1 week.
He was 3-for-4 with four RBI, one double and one homerun in the second game against Oglethorpe on March 20.
For the week, Lindsey posted a .583 batting average (7-for-12) against SCAC competition. He also added four runs, four RBI, two doubles and a homerun in three league games.
