Colorado College, Air Force Team Up for Benefit Lacrosse Clinic

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Colorado College and Air Force men’s lacrosse programs will conduct a lacrosse clinic immediately following their scrimmage on Saturday, Feb. 6, at CC’s Washburn Field.

The cost is $20 per player and all proceeds will benefit the Jack McGetrick Fund. McGetrick, the head coach at Bellarmine University, is battling cancer. Teams from across the country have joined forces in a fund-raising effort.

Head coaches Guy Van Arsdale of CC and Eric Seremet of Air Force are excited about the scrimmage/clinic format to assist their friend and colleague.

“It’s something we feel very strongly about supporting,” Guy Van Arsdale said. “College programs across the country are running clinics to raise money to help Jack with his fight with cancer.”

The clinic is for players 10 years of age and up, regardless of skill level. Participants should bring a stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads and shoulder pads.

Checks should be made payable to the Jack McGetrick Fund. There is no charge to watch the scrimmage, which begins at 11 a.m.
