Jacobs (Brenham, Texas) has enjoyed an illustrious playing career for the TLU baseball program. He’s been a mainstay in the Bulldogs’ starting lineup for three years, anchoring the TLU defense with solid glove-work at shortstop.

Twice Jacobs has earned All-Conference Honorable Mention, first as a sophomore in the ASC, then last year in TLU’s first season in the SCAC. He’s racked up more than 100 hits in his TLU career, and this year he is tied for fifth in the conference with 24 runs scored.

Off the field, Jacobs has excelled as well, serving both the Texas Lutheran and Seguin community as an ambassador for TLU Baseball. The senior has served as an active member in TLU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), helping lead several different community-service projects. He’s helped put together canned food drives and clothing drives, as well as spearhead TLU’s Make a Change program.

As part of the baseball team, Jacobs has also helped the Seguin community by working at the Mosaic Church, across the street from the TLU campus.

After graduation, Jacobs plans to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He will earn a doctorate in physical therapy.
