Hancock has volunteered all four years to assist in the
campus’ Big Event and Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day.
This past year, she volunteered her time at Common Ground for both
events, but has also spent time with the Salvation Army, Stoner
Hill Elementary and assisted with yard work for community members
who were unable.
Through athletics, she has had the opportunity to volunteer at
Southern Hill Nursing Home and spend time with residents in a
variety way. The Centenary softball team and Node, the Living
Learning Community, to which she is a member, have been active
members with Common Ground where they assist in cleaning,
organizing, teaching and helped participate in their social media
platform. As a member of Chi-Omega, she and her sisters, have also
volunteered periodically at Common Ground as well as Make-A-Wish
events around the community.
Along with softball, Chi-Omega and Node, Hancock is a member of the
Student Government Association and Pandora Design.
