Through athletics, she has had the opportunity to volunteer at Southern Hill Nursing Home and spend time with residents in a variety way. The Centenary softball team and Node, the Living Learning Community, to which she is a member, have been active members with Common Ground where they assist in cleaning, organizing, teaching and helped participate in their social media platform. As a member of Chi-Omega, she and her sisters, have also volunteered periodically at Common Ground as well as Make-A-Wish events around the community.

Along with softball, Chi-Omega and Node, Hancock is a member of the Student Government Association and Pandora Design.
