VANESSA MORENO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from El Paso, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, February 25 through Sunday, March 3.
Moreno placed second in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:36.62 at the University of Incarnate Word Invitational. This time represented a seven second personal best.
