BECCA CLARIN
OF RHODES COLLEGE, a junior goalkeeper from
Clarendon Hills, Ill., has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer
Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
October 6 through Sunday, October 12.
Clarin recorded two shut out victories over Centre
and DePauw on the road this weekend bringing Rhodes season shutout
mark to 9. Clarin made two huge saves
against Centre pushing one off the bar in the first half and one
wide in the second to help preserve the Lynx' early lead.
Clarin was dominant against DePauw pulling crosses
out the air to keep her second clean sheet of the weekend and keep
the Lynx at the top of the SCAC standings.
