KIM POLASEK OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior midfielder from Houston, Texas has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Monday, October 19th through Sunday, October 25th.
Polasek led Trinity to a pair of SCAC road wins over the weekend, defeating two of the top four teams in the SCAC in Texas Lutheran and Southwestern. Polasek opened up with the game-winning goal in Friday's win over the Bulldogs, connecting on a 25-yard shot early in the first half of play. She followed that with her first multi-goal performance of the season with two second-half scores against Southwestern.
Polasek was very efficient with her shooting this week, scoring her three goals on just six shots. For the season, Polasek is third on the Tiger team with six goals scored, as well as contributing a pair of assists. She is tied for fourth with 14 total points for Trinity, and Friday's game-winner was just her second of the season.
